As an official photographer for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, it is my job to capture the essence of the festival as it pertained to the theme "40 years of Evolution". Starting work at midday, I went through the entire grounds which easily accommodated in excess of 100,000 people - a record in terms of attendance.
