With over 350 check-in's on the opening night at a private function held in the Piper Room at the Ovolo Hotel, Woolloomooloo Wharf on Tuesday 21st February 2017, patrons and distinguished LGBTQI community members enjoyed over eighty artworks, a video montage, music of gay anthems arranged by DJ's Amanda Louise and Kitty Glitter and a moving speech by the artist, followed by a rendition of "Don't Let Go" by performer Greg Gould.
